New Era Cap Co., Inc., the leading headwear designer and manufacturer and Official On-Field Cap of Major League Baseball, designed and manufactured 600 baseball caps for the participants who dare to plunge into Lake Erie on December 6th.
The participants are Freezin' For A Reason!! Anyone is welcomed to participate who share a common goal on raising money for the athletes of Special Olympics New York throughout the year.
Teams can be composed of friends, families, co-workers,
companies, churches, social clubs, offices, small
businesses...and the list goes on. Any combination of 2-200
people can be a Plunge team.
This year, over 6,000 Plungers and 15,000 Spectators are expected to be in attendance in 12 locations across New York.
